my new school. :] BROKENSHIRE COLLEGE!

As a graduate of the Ateneo de Davao University high school and a former student of the Ateneo de Davao University College, I see Brokenshire College as an ordinary school for we believe that our school is superior. We are on top of the other schools here in Davao. I should be honest that I underestimated this school.

Suppose to be I should be in my 2nd year in college but then I headed the wrong path which made me still a 1st year college here. My papa decided to enroll me here not just to keep me away from my friends but also for me to continue with my sport, Lawn Tennis. And so it happened for I am a part of the team.

How could I ever forget the 1st time I stepped into this school? It was summer then and I was with my mom to get the list of requirements for a transferee like me. The first few words that came out my mouth was “Ahh. . eto pala ag brok ma” and followed by “ Ok lang. nature-friendly-school. Pero walang air-conditioned classrooms at maliliit ang cr nila” as I was comparing it to my former school then my mama told me to stop with the comments and so I did.

I haven’t appreciated brokenshire in my first few weeks here for I had no friends because I was still locked up in my old life and I still hangout with my old friends. Days passed so fast that I met these genuine people which became my friends. They are Jason, Llemit, Kim and Al who helped me see brokenshire as a better place.

It is a place of simplicity. That is how I describe this school. It is a place where you can freely be yourself with out worrying too much on what other people might say. You don’t have to dress up like the others. You don’t have to pretend of who you really are just to fit in.

Here you can see a happy crowd not because of they’re riches but because of the people around them.

I felt privileged to be in this school for I did not only learn what the teachers taught us but the great lessons that helped me to become a better person and a student that I may not have learned if I haven’t entered Brokenshire College.
